i would like to say having met Suzi through Dogs in Distress, she has a genuine love of animals, no matter what size, shape, or temperment comes her way she loves them all equally. and gives up all her time to help them, she is a great at advising and encouraging all the fosterers and I wish her the best of luck on thursday

I couldn’t think of a more amazing person to recieve this award than Suzy. She has been such an inspiration to me and to so many others over the past years as we have watched her strive to save every dogs life! She has not only helped and cared for thousands of animals, she has touched many human hearts and made people want to become better and more understanding when dealing with our small fuzzy friends. She is truely one of the most compassionate and warm people you will ever meet and I am so proud to say that some people dont even achieve in their lifetime, what Suzy has done to benefit lives in the space of one day. All of our love and best wishes from your friends and followers in Australia Suzy.

What a superb role model for other young people. It is so reassuring for those of us now classified as old, to realise that there are still many young people in our community who are happy to devote their time and energies to such a deserving cause.

I do sincerely hope she gets the recognition this effort truly deserves.
